Van Driver Class Summer '26

Van driver familiarization classes are held on the days and times listed below. The class size is limited to six individuals. You must register and submit the van driver training form 3 business days (strict enforcement) before class. This form MUST be completed and entirely signed before emailing the  Van Driver Training Form. Please note that the form must indicate the date you wish to attend class. Also, please read VCU’s Vehicle Accident Prevention and Safety Policy.

Behind the Wheel training will be held on:

  • Selected Mondays at 3 PM.
  • Selected Thursdays at 4 PM.

Please send the completed van driver training form to Lt. Greer for scheduling at the email address below.

The training location will be at the VCU Police Headquarters located at 224 E. Broad Street. Students will need access to a van provided by their department.

  4. Distracted driving
  5. Drinking and driving
  6. Drowsy driving
  7. Failure to yield the right of way
  8. Seat belt (requirements)
  9. Traffic safety tips
  10. Driving preparation checklist
