Fingerprinting for Background Checks

  • Fingerprinting services are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 3:30 PM and are available by appointment only for VCU students, faculty and staff.  For the winter break, the last fingerprint appointment will be on Thursday, 12/19/2024 and services will resume on Tuesday, 1/7/2025.
  • Per VCU Human Resources’ policy, VCU employees who require fingerprints for employment-related background checks must have the process completed via VCU Police.
  • Due to continued health and safety concerns, please be advised that fingerprint card services remain limited to VCU/VCUHS students, faculty and staff. Any future changes will be posted to this site. If you are not a VCU/VCUHS student, faculty, or staff and need fingerprint card services, additional location options for fingerprint card services are provided below.
