Daily Crime Log
The daily crime log is based on preliminary information regarding a criminal incident that was reported to and collected by the VCU Police Department.
The daily crime log data may reflect the following information:
- Information not yet verified by further law enforcement investigation
- Information that may include attempted and reported crimes
- Preliminary crime classifications that may change at a later date after further investigation
- Note regarding arrested persons: All arrested persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
The VCU Police Department does not guarantee, either expressed or implied, the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or correct sequencing of the information, and the information should not be used for comparison purposes over time.
